Dr. Chrystopher Perez

Dr. Chrystopher Perez brings a uniquely compassionate and prevention-focused approach to children's dentistry, shaped by his own lived experiences. Before becoming a dentist, he spent years working as a registered dental hygienist, giving him a foundation rooted in proactive, prevention-first care. Having gone through childhood dental trauma himself and witnessing his sister’s journey to restore her smile after a serious accident, Dr. Perez understands how powerful a safe, imaginative dental environment can be for a child.

And these early experiences became the spark behind So-Hi. Dr. Perez set out to create a dental home where kids feel bold enough to explore, parents feel fully supported, and dentistry feels… well, fun! Equal parts clinical excellence and imaginative energy, his approach helps kids build trust, confidence, and curiosity at a pace that feels right for them.

Dr. Perez holds a Bachelor's degree from West Coast University and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2014, a foundation that gives him a uniquely thorough, prevention-first perspective on oral health. He went on to earn his dental degree from Western University, where he trained in minimally invasive techniques, gentle behavior guidance, and modern dental care. That hygienist background means he catches changes early, prioritizes prevention, and helps families understand how small, consistent habits can shape a child's lifelong smile.

Whether he’s using panoramic imaging to skip those uncomfortable bitewing X-rays or walking a nervous child through a new experience, Dr. Perez brings calm, clarity, and a little bit of magic to every appointment. He loves seeing kids leave feeling braver than when they arrived and parents leave feeling heard, reassured, and totally in the loop. More than anything, Dr. Perez built So-Hi to be that place where modern care meets imagination.

When your family walks through our doors, you’re greeted by a front desk team fully focused on you and your care. With drinks offered to everyone and space to explore, the atmosphere sets the tone for a dental visit that feels different from the very start!

A guided tour through our imaginative space

To help kids feel at home from the start, we walk them through our newly designed office, including interactive surprises, an additional kid and teen-friendly waiting nook, and treatment areas. Seeing the X-ray room, colorful operatories, and even our sterilization zone helps us build the foundations of trust and familiarity before anything begins.

Zooming through X-rays the So-Hi way

Thanks to our advanced panoramic machine, we can capture everything we need quickly, gently, and with far less wiggling- skipping painful bitewings all together. After imaging, Dr. Perez meets your family, completes a thorough exam, and explains possible treatment options to you and your child.

At So-Hi, our community outreach reflects the same mission as our dentistry: creating brighter futures, one child at a time. We’re strongly committed to uplifting the families who shape our community. As we grow, we’re proud to partner with local organizations, schools, and programs that help kids access the support they need to stay healthy, confident, and cared for. For every new patient we welcome, we donate $5 to Street Teens, an incredible organization supporting homeless and at-risk youth throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
